What happened to a chill summer? Neurotech markets are changing fast.

The storm of federal activity over the last few weeks defies precedent. Gale-force tradewinds in biotech, pharma, medtech, managed care, and public health. Ongoing reductions in force across FDA, HHS, beyond. Expected cuts in Medicaid, and unexpected cuts in Medicare reimbursement for implanted neurotech.

And yet: Newly funded brain health programs, grant renewals, fresh datasets, and numerous mandated agency calls for public comment. It’s a good time to stay engaged.

And also: ~$100m in new capital between VC and public awards. New startups. Bold deals. New leaders. Reg approvals. Research from academy x industry.

What else? Juicy commentaries galore. New reporting, resources, and perspectives on BCI, implanted neurotech, real world EEG. New Events. Vid/Pod linkage. A Radiohead reference. And always: “And more.”
