How do you see non-invasive neuromodulation devices arena in this? Will they be affected at all in a second/later wave, or could they potentially help create precedent case studies of benefits?
Pardon late reply - My guess it would not be a priority for this program as the goal is to reduce "wasteful" treatments i.e. ones that involve expensive surgical procedures with cheaper alternatives.
Came here to ask the same. I think the very-short-term is difficult to predict, but the medium-long term is very much not. Given the pace of progress in the non-invasive neuromodulation space these days, and where I happen to know it is likely to be pretty soon, the value of these techniques simply dwarfs what investment has already been made in them.
Idk about you, but I am going to have to see one hell of a press conference by Neurolink or Science (no offense @MaxHodak) to drill a hole into my skull for most use-cases.
Very insightful Naveen, thanks!
